Released in 1980 as Queen's tenth album. Released on LP and cassette and released in 1986 on CD. The LP issue has a non-gatefolded sleeve and a printed innersleeve with photos and lyrics.

The USA and Mexican LP issues have a different innersleeve and an extra double sided insert with lyrics and a Ming picture from the film.

The Venezuelan LP issue has a gatefold sleeve.

Turkey has a unique sleeve with a live photo on the front.

Taiwan has the front and back sleeves reversed and has a blue colored back sleeve in a pvc outer sleeve.

The USA has a 1991 CD re-issue with a bonus track. Available with and without a longbox.

Re-issued on CD in Europe and Japan in 1993-1994.

Re-issued in Japan on CD in 2001 with improved sound quality.

Re-issued in Japan on CD in 2004 with a card sleeve (using the 2001 remasters). The package also includes a mini innersleeve like the original UK vinyl issue. Released in Europe on July 12 2004 (including obi's and Japanese lyrics sheet).
